Ekouaer has announced a nightgowns recall of about 16,800 girl’s nightgowns due to a failure to meet federal flammability regulations. This non-compliance poses a serious risk of burn injuries to children, prompting immediate consumer action.

The recall specifically targets Ekouaer girl’s nightgowns made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, featuring a screen print on the chest. These short-sleeved nightgowns are available in sizes 110 through 150 and come in 13 different colors: clear blue, lilac, light blue, light green, light gray, gray, pink, navy, light pink, purple, rose, white, and yellow.

These nightgowns were exclusively sold online at www.amazon.com from May 2020 through July 2023, with prices ranging between $10 and $20.
Safety Hazard Identified
The nightgowns recalled do not comply with the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, presenting a significant risk of burn injuries to children wearing these garments.
Recall Remedy and Consumer Action
Ekouaer urges consumers to immediately remove the recalled nightgowns from children’s use and cease using them. For a full refund, customers should destroy the nightgowns by cutting them both vertically and horizontally, then dispose of them following local and state recycling regulations. Consumers are instructed to email a photo of the destroyed garment to walshkelly15@gmail.com. Upon verifying the destruction, Ekouaer will issue a full refund.
