Brake Lever Recall Remedy and Consumer Action

SRAM advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled shift brake levers and to inspect their levers for tightness. If the lever is found to be loose or rotates, consumers are entitled to a free brake installation inspection at an authorized SRAM retailer. If the brake installation is deemed loose during the inspection, the clamp bolt assembly will be tightened or replaced at no extra cost.
