Product Description
This recall targets the Tilt-Up Bath & Shower Seats, known for their wall-mounted, folding design. Made of teak wood slats connected by support rods, these seats are distinctive for their brushed nickel, polished nickel, polished chrome, or oil-rubbed bronze finishes on the rods and bracket covers. The products are identifiable by model numbers SBS-101BN, SBS-101PN, SBS-101PC, or SBS-101ORB, measuring 20 inches in width and 13 inches in depth.

Sales Information
Approximately 3,900 units have been sold in the United States, with an additional 733 in Canada and 126 in Mexico. These shower seats were available at specialty plumbing supply outlets from June 2009 to February 2015, retailing between $490 and $660.
Safety Hazard Identified
The key concern triggering this recall is the potential corrosion and breakage of the seat’s wall mounting bracket and support rods. This defect poses significant risks of falls and lacerations to users.
